Taco-Cheese Animal Crackers - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. all purpose flour
    1 1/2 c. (6 oz.) shredded taco-flavored cheddar cheese
    1/2 c. butter or margarine, softened
    Paprika, optional
Preparation
    Position knife blade in food processor bowl; add flour, shredded cheese and butter.
    Process until mixture forms a ball, stopping once to scrape down sides.
    Wrap dough in heavy-duty plastic wrap; chill 30 minutes.
    Unwrap dough and roll to 1/4 inch thickness on a lightly floured surface.
    Cut with 2 1/2 inch animal-shaped cookie cutters.
    Place on ungreased cookie sheets. Sprinkle with paprika, if desired.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 10 to 12 minutes or until lightly browned; cool on wire racks.
    Yield: 3 dozen.
