Waldorf Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. diced unpeeled apples
    1 c. diced celery
    1/4 to 1/2 c. broken unsalted nuts
    1/2 c. mayonnaise
Preparation
    Toss apples, celery and nuts with mayonnaise.
    Serve on lettuce.
    Top each serving with a maraschino cherry.
    Makes 4 servings.
