Filled Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. butter
    1 egg
    3 tsp. baking powder
    3 c. plain flour with little salt
    1 c. seeded raisins, chopped
    1 Tbsp. flour
    2/3 c. chopped nuts
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. sweet milk
    1 tsp. baking soda in flour
    2/3 c. sugar
    juice and pulp of 1 orange
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Soak all ingredients awhile with pinch of salt.
    Let come to a boil and cool.
    Roll dough about 1/4 inch thick.
    Cut cookies. Put teaspoon of filling on one cookie, put another cookie on top pressing edges well.
    Cut a little hole in top to allow steam to escape.
    Bake in 350\u00b0 oven until a nice brown.
    Do not overbake.
