Cora'S Fudge Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 c. sugar
1 c. Crisco
2 eggs
2 c. buttermilk
2 tsp. soda
vanilla
3 c. flour
4 Tbsp. cocoa

Preparation

Cream the sugar and Crisco.
Add eggs and vanilla.
Dissolve soda in buttermilk.
Mix cocoa and flour.
Add buttermilk and flour mixtures alternately to creamed sugar and Crisco.
Grease and flour 3 round cake pans.
Pour in batter and bake in a 350\u00b0 oven until toothpick comes out clean.
