Nutty Peach Squares - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. margarine, softened
    1/2 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    1/2 c. all-purpose flour
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 tsp. ground cinnamon
    54 vanilla wafers, finely rolled
    1/4 c. milk
    1 1/2 c. peach slices (fresh or canned), drained
    1/2 c. walnuts, chopped
    confectioners sugar
    whipped topping
Preparation
    In a large bowl, beat margarine and sugar at medium speed until creamy.
    Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
    Sift together the flour, baking powder, salt and cinnamon; stir in vanilla wafer crumbs.
    Stir crumb mixture with milk into margarine mixture until well blended.
    Stir in peaches and walnuts.
    Spread into well-greased and floured 13 x 9-inch pan.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 35 minutes or until done.
    Sprinkle with confectioners sugar.
    Serve warm or at room temperature.
    Top squares with peach slices and a dollop of whipped topping.
