Overnight Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 egg
    2 Tbsp. lemon juice
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    1/2 c. heavy cream, whipped
    1 large orange, diced
    1 c. canned light sweet cherries, drained
    1 c. drained canned pineapple, diced
    8 marshmallows, quartered
Preparation
    Beat the egg until light and lemon colored.
    Add lemon juice and sugar and cook in top of a double boiler over hot water until thick and smooth, stirring constantly.
    Remove from the heat and cool.
    Add fruit and marshmallows; fold in the cream.
    Turn into individual molds, first rinsed with cold water.
    Chill overnight. Unmold on lettuce.
    Serve with a small amount of the whipped cream topped with a maraschino cherry.
