Lentil Patties - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 tsp. oil
1/4 c. chopped onion
1/3 c. chopped bell pepper
1 1/4 c. mashed potatoes
1 1/2 c. cooked lentils, drained well and mashed
1/4 tsp. sage
1/3 c. coarsely chopped nuts
Preparation

Saute onion and bell pepper in oil, but do not brown.
Add remaining ingredients and mix together well.
Form into small round cakes.
Brush top lightly with oil.
Brown in 400\u00b0 oven for 15 to 20 minutes.
Serve plain or with gravy.
Serves 5 to 6.
