Punch Bowl Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 box yellow or lemon cake mix
    2 (4 oz. each) boxes instant vanilla pudding
    3 bananas, sliced
    2 cans cherry pie filling
    2 cans fruit cocktail, drained
    2 cans pineapple tidbits, drained
    1 c. chopped nuts
    12 oz. shredded coconut
    16 oz. frozen whipped topping
Preparation
    Mix and bake cake as directed, making 2 layers.
    Cool. Prepare instant pudding as directed; refrigerate.
