Corn Pones(Mary Abigale - Ethel, Gean Parker) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. corn meal
    2 heaping Tbsp. flour
    1 tsp. salt
    1 Tbsp. grease or 2 or 3 Tbsp. crumbled bacon or cracklins
    1 can cream-style corn (optional)
    milk or water (optional)
Preparation
    Mix the first 4 ingredients.
    You can mix corn and enough milk or water to make like pancake consistency.
    Fry in hot grease until brown (like pancake size).
