Christmas Punch - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 c. sugar
    5 qt. water (hot)
    1 large pineapple juice
    1 small frozen orange juice, thawed
    3 pkg. cherry Kool-Aid
Preparation
    Dissolve sugar in hot water; let cool.
    Add remaining ingredients and stir until well
    mixed.
    Freeze punch until slushy before serving.
