Cherry Cake - cooking recipe

1 1/2 c. Crisco
3 c. sugar
6 eggs
3 3/4 c. plain flour
3/4 c. milk
3 tsp. butternut flavoring
1 small bottle maraschino cherries
Preparation

Cream together Crisco, sugar and eggs.
Mix in flour, milk, flavoring and cherries.
Bake at 275\u00b0 for 1 hour and 45 minutes or until done.
