Snickerdoodles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. soft butter
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    2 medium eggs
    2 3/4 c. sifted flour (plain)
    2 tsp. cream of tartar
    1 tsp. soda
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    2 tsp. cinnamon
Preparation
    Cream the butter, sugar and eggs thoroughly.
    Sift together the flour, cream of tartar and soda.
    Stir into butter mixture. Chill mixture.
    Form dough into balls about the size of a walnut. Roll in a mixture containing 2 tablespoons of sugar and 2 teaspoons of cinnamon.
    Place 2 inches apart on an ungreased cookie sheet.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 for 8 minutes.
    Yields 5 dozen.
