Scotcheroos - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. white Karo syrup
    1 c. sugar (with dextrose, if possible; makes them chewy)
    1 c. peanut butter
    6 c. Rice Krispies
    6 oz. semi-sweet chocolate chips
    6 oz. butterscotch chips
Preparation
    In a saucepan, bring syrup and sugar to a light boil.
    Remove from heat; add peanut butter.
    Mix well.
    Add Rice Krispies. Spread mixture into a 9 x 13-inch pan which has been buttered. Melt chips together over low heat.
    Spread over mixture.
