Snickerdoodles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 3/4 c. flour
    1 c. shortening, butter or margarine
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    2 tsp. cream of tartar
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1/4 tsp. salt
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    2 Tbsp. cinnamon
Preparation
    Mix shortening, sugar
    and
    eggs well; in separate bowl mix flour, cream of
    tartar,
    baking soda and salt.
    Gradually add flour mixture to
    shortening mixture and combine thoroughly. Shape into 1 inch
    balls;
    roll
    into 2 tablespoons sugar and 2 tablespoons cinnamon
    that\thave
    been
    mixed
    together. Place 2 inches apart on
    greased
    cookie
    sheet.
    Bake in 350\u00b0 oven for 8 to 10 minutes or until lightly brown.
