Refrigerator Rolls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. boiling water
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 pkg. yeast
    1/2 tsp. sugar
    4 c. plain flour
    1/4 c. sugar
    1/4 c. shortening
    1/4 c. warm water
    1 egg
Preparation
    Mix boiling water, sugar, salt and shortening.
    Soften yeast in 1/4 cup warm water and add 1/2 teaspoon sugar.
    When first two mixtures are cool, add yeast mixture to beaten eggs.
    Add 2 cups flour and mix well. Mix remaining flour and mix well.
    Mix, but do not knead.
    Cover and let set in refrigerator at least two hours. Shape into rolls and put in greased pan.
    Let rise in warm room until double in size.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 until golden brown.
    Makes about 3 dozen.
