Pork Chop And Potato Dinner - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. thinly sliced, pared potatoes (2 lb.)
    2/3 c. evaporated milk
    2 Tbsp. finely cut onion
    1/2 tsp. salt
    few grains pepper
    4 pork chops (1/2 to 3/4-inch thick)
Preparation
    Put potatoes into greased 2-quart baking dish.
    Pour evaporated milk over potatoes.
    Season pork chops with onion, salt and pepper.
    Trim fat.
    Cook fat until crisp, then remove from skillet.
    Brown chops slowly on both sides, then put on top of potatoes in baking dish.
    Cover and bake in 375\u00b0 oven for 1 1/4 hours or until potatoes are tender.
    Makes 4 servings.
