Alaska Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    16 oz. whipped topping
    2 (3 oz.) pkg. orange gelatin
    2 c. small curd cottage cheese
    2 (11 oz.) cans mandarin oranges, drained
    1 (20 oz.) can pineapple chunks, drained
Preparation
    Combine whipped topping and orange gelatin in bowl; mix well. Add cottage cheese, mandarin oranges and pineapple; mix well. Pour into serving dish and chill for 4 hours.
    I decorate the top with another can of drained mandarin oranges to give it some color.
    May use other flavors of gelatin with your choice of fruits if desired.
    Yield:
    10 servings.
