Hamburger Soup - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 lb. ground beef
2 c. diced celery
1 (16 oz.) can stewed tomatoes
1 Tbsp. catsup
6 c. water
1 bay leaf
1 Tbsp. sugar
1/2 c. instant rice
2 c. diced carrots
3 medium diced onions
1 (16 oz.) can diced tomatoes
1 can beef stock
1/2 head cabbage (small)
1/2 tsp. basil
dash of salt and pepper
dash of lemon juice
Preparation

Slightly brown ground beef, then simmer 45 minutes.
Add the rest of the ingredients except for the cabbage after cooking the other ingredients for about 15 minutes.
Add the cabbage.
After all the ingredients are added, simmer for an additional hour.
Add instant rice about 4 minutes at the end of the cooking.
Cook until rice is tender.
Serve hot.
