Beef Noodle Vegetable Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    1 medium onion, chopped
    1 pkg. hamburger mix for beef noodles
    5 c. water
    1 bay leaf
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    1 (16 oz.) can whole tomatoes, undrained
    1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen mixed vegetables
Preparation
    Cook and stir ground beef and onion in Dutch oven until beef is brown; drain.
    Stir in sauce mix, water, bay leaf, salt, pepper and tomatoes.
    Break up tomatoes.
    Heat to boiling, stirring occasionally.
    Reduce heat; cover and simmer 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
    Stir in noodles and vegetables.
    Cover and cook 10 minutes longer.
    Remove bay leaf.
