Chocolate Oatmeal Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 c. sugar
1 stick oleo
1/3 c. cocoa
1/2 c. milk
1 1/2 c. oatmeal
1 tsp. vanilla
1/4 c. chopped nuts or 2 tsp. peanut butter (optional)

Preparation

Mix sugar, oleo, cocoa and milk together.
Boil for 1 minute. Take off heat.
Add vanilla, oatmeal and nuts.
Beat until stiff. Drop by teaspoonfuls on waxed paper.
This also may be used as candy.
