Parboiling Ribs Before Barbecuing - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 gal. water
    2 tsp. salt
    2 tsp. pepper
    1/2 c. cayenne pepper
    1/2 c. Tabasco
    5 onions, chopped
    8 lb. beef ribs
Preparation
    Bring all ingredients but ribs to a boil.
    Reduce to a simmer. Add ribs and simmer 10 to 15 minutes or until done.
    Turn off heat and let sit 10 minutes more.
