Barbecue Chicken - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 lb. chicken legs, cut into thighs and legs
    1 can 7-Up
    soy sauce to taste
    1/2 head garlic, chopped
    black pepper to taste
    sugar to taste
Preparation
    Marinate chicken pieces for 24 hours in the refrigerator. Lift pieces from marinade. Discard marinade. Put chicken in baking pan and cover. Bake for 1 hour at 350\u00b0. Take off cover. Broil 5 to 10 minutes, uncovered, so the chicken will brownish red but not dark. Serve with hot boiled rice. Serves 6 to 8.
