Refrigerator Rolls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. water
    2 pkg. dry yeast
    1/2 c. sugar
    2 tsp. salt
    6 1/2 to 7 c. flour
    1/4 c. soft shortening
    1 egg
Preparation
    Dissolve yeast in 1/2 of water, sugar and salt.
    Add half of flour, then add egg, shortening and the rest of the flour.
    Beat until smooth.
    Cover with cloth; let rise.
    Make into rolls and let rise again (2 hours).
    Makes 4 dozen rolls.
    Bake for 12 to 15 minutes in a 400\u00b0 oven.
