Herbed French Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (1 lb.) loaf French bread
    1 c. butter or margarine, softened
    2 Tbsp. finely chopped parsley
    1 tsp. dried basil, crushed
    1/2 tsp. dried marjoram, crushed
    1/2 tsp. dried tarragon, crushed
    1/2 tsp. dried thyme leaves, crushed
    onion powder
Preparation
    Cut bread diagonally at 1/2-inch intervals.
    Beat butter or margarine until fluffy.
    Add crushed herbs and a sprinkle of onion powder.
    Spread about 2 teaspoons on each slice.
    Reassemble loaf and wrap in foil.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 15 to 20 minutes.
    Serve hot.
