Skillet Pork Chops And Rice - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 medium onion
    1/4 c. celery
    2 Tbsp. oil
    4 pork chops
    1 1/2 c. water
    2 Tbsp. brown sugar
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    2 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce
    1 c. uncooked rice
    1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Saute onion and celery in oil.
    Sprinkle chops with salt and pepper; brown on both sides.
    Remove chops.
    Add water, brown sugar, salt, pepper and 1 1/2 cans of tomato sauce.
    Stir, bringing to boiling point.
    Add rice and stir.
    Return chops to pan.
    Cover and simmer 30 minutes.
    Pour remaining tomato sauce on chops; cover and cook 15 minutes longer.
