Surprise English Walnut Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients

3 eggs, beaten
1 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. chopped walnuts

Preparation

Beat eggs; add sugar to eggs while beating.
Beat until light and thick.
Add salt, vanilla and nuts.
Pour into a greased pie plate.
Bake at 325\u00b0 for 25 to 30 minutes.
Cool.
Cover with whipped cream when cool.
This pie is delicious but it is not pretty without the whipped cream.
