Cherry Cobbler - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 stick margarine
3/4 c. sugar
2 large or 3 small eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1 (21 oz.) can cherry pie filling
Preparation

Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
Cream butter; gradually add sugar and cream until fluffy.
Beat in eggs and vanilla.
Combine flour, baking powder and salt.
Gradually add to creamed mixture; beat well.
Reserve 1/2 cup batter.
Spread remaining batter in buttered 8 x 8 x 2-inch baking pan.
Spread cherry pie filling over batter. Drop reserved batter by teaspoon over cherry filling.
Bake 50 to 55 minutes.
Serve warm or cool topped with vanilla ice cream.
