English Pea Casserole - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 onion
1 bell pepper
1 can tomatoes
3 Tbsp. flour
1 can mushroom soup
1 c. grated cheese
1 large can English peas, drained
Preparation
-
Saute onion and bell pepper in small amount of Crisco.
Add tomatoes and cook to a thick paste.
In a boiler mix flour with enough milk to make a paste.
Add mushroom soup and cheese and cook until thick.
Add English peas.
Add the two mixtures together.
Pour into casserole dish.
Top with buttered bread crumbs.
Bake until crumbs are browned.
