Celery And Water Chestnut Casserole - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 c. celery, cut into 1-inch pieces
1 (5 oz.) can water chestnuts, sliced
1 (10 3/4 oz.) can cream of chicken soup
1/4 c. pimento, diced (optional)
1/4 c. almonds, slivered and toasted
1/4 c. soft bread crumbs
2 Tbsp. butter, melted
Preparation

Cook celery in a small amount of water until crisp about 8 minutes; drain.
Mix celery with water chestnuts, soup and pimentos.
Pour into buttered casserole.
Toss bread crumbs, almonds and butter together.
Sprinkle on top of casserole.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 35 minutes until lightly browned and hot.
