Beef Burgundy - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. cubed round or sirloin tips of beef
    1 Tbsp. Kitchen Bouquet
    1/4 c. Cream of Rice cereal
    4 carrots, shredded
    2 c. thin sliced onion
    1 c. thin sliced celery
    1 clove garlic, minced
    2 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    1/8 tsp. marjoram
    1/8 tsp. thyme
    2 c. Burgundy wine
    2 cans mushrooms
Preparation
    Place beef on rack in roasting pan.
    Put into unheated oven and heat oven to 500\u00b0.
    Roast beef for 5 minutes for each pound of weight (roast a 4 pound roast for 20 minutes).
    Turn off oven.
    Do not open door.
    Leave beef in oven for 2 hours.
    Remove from oven; let stand 10 minutes before slicing.
