Seven Layer Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. mayonnaise
    1 head iceberg lettuce or lettuce blend
    1 lb. bacon, fried crisp and drained
    1 box frozen peas
    1 red onion, finely chopped
    1 large pepper (green, red or yellow or combination of all 3 for color)
    1 Tbsp. vinegar
    1 c. celery, chopped
    1/4 c. sugar
    1 c. shredded carrots (optional) as a substitute layer
Preparation
    This salad requires layering from the bottom to the top.
    It's very colorful when made in a large glass bowl.
