Pineapple Upside-Down Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 (20 oz.) can sliced pineapple (in its own juice)
1/2 c. butter or margarine
1 c. firmly packed brown sugar
1/2 c. pecan halves
1/2 c. coconut (optional)
1 pkg. yellow cake mix
1/2 c. maraschino cherries
Preparation

Drain pineapple, reserving juice.
Melt butter in 13 x 9-inch baking dish.
Sprinkle with brown sugar, nuts, coconut and cherries.
Top with pineapple.
Add water to juice to measure specified liquid on cake mix box.
Prepare as directed on package. Spread evenly over fruit mixture.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 35 to 40 minutes or until test done.
Cool 5 minutes; invert onto large serving dish.
