Aunt Adeline'S Apple Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

5 to 6 medium apples, sliced
5 Tbsp. sugar
2 tsp. cinnamon
3 c. flour
2 c. sugar
2 tsp. baking powder
2 1/2 tsp. vanilla
4 eggs
1 c. oil
1/4 c. orange juice
Preparation

Combine first 3 ingredients; mix well and set aside.
In second bowl, combine flour, sugar and baking powder.
Combine well.
In smaller bowl, mix the eggs, oil, vanilla and juice. Combine wet and dry ingredients.
Fold in apple mixture.
Bake in ungreased tube pan for 1 hour and 10 minutes at 350\u00b0.
Let the cake stand before removing from pan.
If necessary, dust with powdered sugar of \"drizzle\" thinned icing over the top before serving.
