Tomato Fig - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    7 lb. green tomatoes, sliced
    4 lb. sugar (white)
    1 lb. raisins
    1 pt. vinegar
    1/2 tsp. cloves
    1 tsp. cinnamon
Preparation
    Place tomatoes in salt brine for 2 hours.
    Drain and rinse. Cook tomatoes and raisins with sugar, vinegar, cloves and cinnamon until thick.
    This will keep without sealing.
    Serve with cold roast beef or pork.
