Chile Rellenos Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 oz. Jack cheese, cut in strips
    1 can whole Ortega green chilies
    4 eggs
    1/3 c. milk
    1/2 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1 c. shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
    salsa
    sliced black olives
Preparation
    Cut green chilies in half.
    Divide Jack cheese strips evenly among chile strips arranged in bottom of greased shallow pan. Beat eggs until thick and foamy, add milk, flour and baking powder, beat until as smooth as possible.
    Pour batter over chilies and cheese strips, sprinkle with sharp Cheddar and bake, uncovered, at 375\u00b0 for about 30 minutes or until set.
    Garnish with mild salsa over top and sliced olives, if desired.
    Yields 4 to 6 servings.
