Juanita'S Drop Biscuits - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. flour
    1 Tbsp. baking powder
    3/4 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. soda
    1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
    4 Tbsp. shortening
    1 c. buttermilk
    1 stick butter or margarine
Preparation
    Sift dry ingredients together twice.
    Using two knives, cut shortening into flour mixture until well mixed.
    Add buttermilk; stir well.
    Drop level tablespoonfuls of dough onto greased cookie sheet.
    Place a pat of butter on each biscuit.
    Bake 10 minutes at 425\u00b0.
    Yields 26 biscuits.
