Banana Chocolate Squares - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2/3 c. shortening
    2/3 c. granulated sugar
    2/3 c. firmly packed brown sugar
    1 egg
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 c. mashed banana
    2 c. flour
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1 1/2 c. chocolate chips
Preparation
    Heat oven to 350\u00b0.
    In a large bowl of electric mixer at high speed, beat together shortening, sugars, egg, vanilla and salt until smooth.
    Add bananas; mix well.
    Add low speed, beat in flour and baking powder.
    Fold in chocolate chips.
    Spread in greased jellyroll tin.
    Bake 20 to 25 minutes until browned.
    Cool in pan on wire rack for 15 minutes.
    Cut into squares.
