Onion Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. fine Ritz cracker crumbs
1/2 stick melted butter
2 c. thinly sliced Vidalia onions
1/4 c. grated sharp Cheddar cheese
4 eggs
3/4 c. milk
3/4 tsp. salt
dash of coarse black pepper
2 Tbsp. butter
parsley (optional)
paprika
Preparation
-
Mix cracker crumbs with 1/2 stick butter.
Press into 8-inch pie plate.
Saute onions until clear, but not brown, in 2 tablespoons butter.
Spoon into crust.
