Angel Food Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 baked and cooled 9-inch pie crust
1 can crushed pineapple, drained (save juice)
1 c. water (best to use all pineapple juice, if possible)
1 c. sugar
4 Tbsp. cornstarch
4 large egg whites
Preparation

Combine sugar, pineapple and water in saucepan.
Add diluted cornstarch and cook until thick.
Whip 4 egg whites until stiff peaks form.
Fold hot mixture into beaten egg whites.
Pour into pie crust and chill thoroughly.
Just before serving, top with Cool Whip.
