Strawberry Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. sugar
1 c. cold water
1 (3 oz.) box strawberry Jell-O
strawberries
Redi-Whip
1 (9-inch) pie crust
2 Tbsp. cornstarch (heaping)

Preparation

Mix sugar and cornstarch together.
Add cold water and cook until thick (3 to 5 minutes).
Remove from heat and add Jell-O, stirring until dissolved.
Chill 2 to 3 hours.
Add strawberries and topping.
This makes a 9-inch pie.
