Ingredients

3 c. milk, scalded (do not boil)
1 c. milk or cream
2 c. sugar
8 Tbsp. flour
3 egg yolks
3 Tbsp. chocolate
dash of salt
Preparation

Mix dry ingredients.
Add egg yolks and cup of milk.
Slowly stir into scalded milk and cook until thick.
Pour into oven-safe container.
If desired top with meringue, made by beating 3 egg whites until stiff; and beating in 3 heaping tablespoons sugar. Put on top and brown in 350\u00b0 oven.
