Sausage Pinwheels - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 Tbsp. shortening
    2 c. self-rising flour
    2/3 c. milk
    1/2 to 1 lb. hot ground sausage, cooked
Preparation
    Mix shortening with flour.
    Gradually add milk.
    Knead a minute or so and turn out on floured board.
    Roll dough thin, approximately 1/8-inch thick and in rectangular shape.
    Spread sausage on dough and roll as for jelly roll.
    Refrigerate several hours.
