Polo Picante Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. uncooked white rice
    1 can cream of mushroom soup
    1/2 c. milk
    1 small onion, chopped
    1/2 tsp. black pepper
    1 tsp. chili powder
    3 c. diced, cooked chicken
    1 (16 oz.) jar picante sauce (mild)
    1 lb. Monterey Jack cheese, grated (4 c.)
Preparation
    Cook rice according to package directions in chicken bouillon. Combine soup, milk, onion, salt, pepper and chili powder.
    Layer ingredients in a greased 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Bake uncovered at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
    Layer in chicken, rice, soup mix, picante and cheese.
    Repeat layers.
