Ingredients

1/2 c. butter or margarine
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla or coconut flavoring
3 c. self-rising flour
2 Tbsp. milk
Preparation

Cream sugar and butter together until light and fluffy.
Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each one.
Stir in flavoring.
Add flour to creamy mixture alternately with milk. Form dough into ball and put into refrigerator for 15 minutes. Take out of refrigerator and shape with cookie cutters.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 10 to 12 minutes on greased cookie sheet until lightly brown around edges.
