Country Cobbler - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. fresh fruit
    1 c. sugar
    1 Tbsp. butter
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. milk
Preparation
    Mix and let stand the fruit and sugar.
    Cream butter, sugar and add remaining ingredients.
    Butter a casserole or oblong baking dish and spread batter in bottom of dish.
    Pour fruit and sugar mixture on top.
    Cover with 1 cup boiling water and bake at 375\u00b0 for 40 to 50 minutes.
    Serve with whipping cream.
