Refreshing Fruit Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 egg, slightly beaten
    2 Tbsp. lemon juice
    2 Tbsp. margarine
    6 oranges, sectioned
    3 apples, chopped
    1 c. chopped pecans
    3 bananas, sliced
Preparation
    Drain pineapple, reserving juice. Set aside.
    Combine sugar and egg in a saucepan.
    Gradually stir in reserved pineapple juice and lemon juice. Add margarine.
    Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until mixture is thickened and bubbly.
    Cool dressing.
