Chicken Fried Steak With Gravy - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 beef cube steaks
    salt and pepper
    1 egg, beaten with 1 Tbsp. water
    1/4 c. oil
    2 Tbsp. flour
    1 c. water
    1 c. milk
    flour
Preparation
    Season meat with salt and pepper; coat with flour.
    Dip floured steak in egg mixture, then in flour again.
    In large skillet, brown meat in oil; remove from skillet.
    Stir in 2 tablespoons flour and stir until the flour browns.
    Stir in water and cook until thickens, stir in milk.
    Add meat and simmer for a short time.
