Peanut Brittle - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. Karo (light) syrup
    1 tall glass raw peanuts
    1 tsp. butter
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 tsp. soda
Preparation
    Add first 5 ingredients and cook until you hear the peanuts pop or separate.
    Add soda. Stir fast, then pour in buttered pie pan or long tin pan.
