Snickerdoodles Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. shortening
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    2 3/4 c. flour
    1 tsp. soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 tsp. cream of tartar
Preparation
    Mix shortening, sugar and eggs.
    Sift and stir in the remaining ingredients.
    Roll in balls, walnut size, and roll in mixture of 2 tablespoons sugar and 2 tablespoons cinnamon.
    Place on ungreased cookie sheet 2 inches apart.
    Bake in 400\u00b0 oven for 8 to 10 minutes.
