Mulligan Stew - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. hamburger
    4 carrots (large)
    4 potatoes
    1/2 small rutabaga
    1/2 small cabbage
    1 qt. canned tomatoes
    1 very large onion
    3 stalks celery
    2 bay leaves
    salt and pepper to taste
    1/2 tsp. marjoram
    1/2 tsp. paprika
    1 tsp. parsley flakes
    1/2 tsp. thyme
    water
    1 lb. cans each: peas, corn and green beans
Preparation
    Grate all vegetables, except tomatoes (may be shredded finely if prefer).
    Place in very large kettle.
    Add tomatoes, salt, pepper, bay leaves, marjoram, paprika, thyme and water to cover; spread hamburger on top.
    Bring to boiling on high.
    Stir well. Reduce heat and simmer about 1 hour.
    Add peas, corn and green beans; cook about 25 minutes.
    Herbs can be adjusted to suit your family preference.
